The Tascam TH 02 comes with a cable attached to the 3.5mm audio jack that will make your sound come through loud and clear! The length of this headphone cable is 9.8 feet, so you are able to enjoy it comfortably without being tied down by any sort of cord restrictions or knots in between songs thanks to its straight-cord design which eliminates those pesky tangles from happening ever again!
Additionally, one thing I absolutely love about these headphones is the ¼” adapter included on them for when they need charging because not all devices have micro USB ports like iPhones do nowadays — but most people own some type of device compatible with said port anyway since there’s no shortage of modern technology out here today 🙂
Tascam TH02 is a comfortable pair of headphones. The earpads are very soft with nice faux leather, while the earcups provide extra comfort for those who have small ears like me! These make it easy to wear them for multiple hours without any problems and I can do anything just fine in this time frame too (my hearing isn’t that bad anyway). However, if your ears don’t fit into these smaller cups then you might feel some discomfort after wearing them over an extended period of time because they won’t cover all parts of your larger-than-average sized ears.
The headband on the Tascam TH 02 closed-back headphones features foam padding that is covered with faux leather. The clamping force of these budget cans is medium-light, making them comfortable headphones for those who have an average ear and head size. Though this product is bulky as wired headphones go, you can still find comfort in them if wearing glasses while listening to your favorite tunes from a device or laptop computer at home in bed!
The TH-02 headphone shocked me with their neutral and well-balanced sound despite being low budget. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the music sounded crisp, clear, and suitable for all genres of sounds – without any distortion or static interference even at high volumes. It also has great 50mm drivers which are rare in less expensive headphones such as these ones; The impedance is 32 ohms making it a good option for this price point too!
The Tascam TH-02 has a flat frequency response, going from 18Hz to 22kHz. This is better than many costly over-ear headphones with an uneven sound profile. You have to mind the flatter your frequency response gets; while this can provide excellent audio quality for certain things, it may not work well in other situations where you need more emphasis on specific frequencies.
The bass accuracy of Tascam TH-02 is good, but the overall sound can be very boomy. Depending on how well it fits and seals your ear canal, you might find that this headphone has a more varied response to bass which may not work for everyone’s preferences.
The mid-range is decent with a good overall response and an accurate sound. But it’s often overemphasized by about 4dB, which can make the sound noticeable at this level as well as bring vocals to the front of the mix.
The treble performance of Tascam TH 02 is excellent and natural. It also sounds clear and bright on a variety of tracks, making it stand out from other budget models in the market.
The soundstage performance is average, as it has a closed-back construction. It feels like the music and sounds are trapped inside their listener’s head instead of being projected outwards into an open space.
The Tascam TH-02 headset was designed to be comfortable and feature decent sound leakage performance. I like the over-ear design because it prevents leaks when you have them on, but if you listen to a loud volume in a quiet room, it might leak out just slightly more than other headsets of this price range.
The Tascam TH-02 closed-back studio headphones do not have active noise cancellation. This means that the over-ear design will cut out some sound but if you are on a plane or in a loud environment, these might be too quiet for your liking.
If you are searching for a set of headphones with mic capabilities, Tascam TH-02 is not the right choice. This particular headphone model does NOT come equipped with this feature.
The Tascam TH02 has mediocre build quality at best. The all-plastic design looks and feels a little cheap, which is not very durable either because the hinges feel like they might snap under moderate physical stress. However, it seems that you’re more likely to break your headphones than damage them from an accidental drop if they are dense enough as well – just in case of those couple accidents!
The Tascam TH-02 is a great headphone for anyone who likes simplicity. It’s black, has an average design, and doesn’t come with any special features like noise cancellation or wireless technology.
The overall look of the headphone isn’t spectacular, but it looks pretty good to me because I prefer simple designs that are low maintenance whenever possible!
The Tascam TH02 is a wired set of headphones that are stable for casual activities. They may not be the best option if you’re looking to use them while working out or jogging, but they will do well with more laid-back tasks such as listening to music in your room or doing work on your computer. The design includes non-detachable cables which can get pulled off easily when hooked onto something; this makes it better suited for stationary purposes like reading and writing rather than a strenuous physical activity where you might have trouble controlling movement without risk of yanking them off at any time.
The Tascam TH 02 closed-back studio headphones are not lightweight enough for portability. This headphone is bulky, with a weight of 15 ounces which can be cumbersome to carry around often. However, the compact and foldable design does make it somewhat manageable when carrying this heavy gadget in your bag – you just need an extra carrying bag!
Is It Waterproof?
Tascam TH02 is not a pair of waterproof headphones, it is not even sweatproof.
Compatibility With Other Devices
The TH-02 vinyl has a permanent 3.5mm audio jack and ¼” adapter that makes it more compatible with most devices, including Windows 10 and Mac! You can even perfectly use the device if you have an Android or iPad but not iPhone. Those who want to use the Tascam on iPhones, need to purchase an additional third-party adapter as well.
Is Tascam TH – 02 Suitable For Gaming?
Tascam TH 02 is not a professional gaming headphone but has an average performance for gaming. It doesn’t have a mic or any app support, and the range of its audio cable also limits it.
If you want to use these headphones with PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch only for listening and will be playing exclusively on PC or other similar devices where the microphone won’t matter then this might work out well enough without breaking your bank account.
How Much Suitable For Studio?
The Tascam TH-02 is an affordable way to track instruments or vocals. It doesn’t isolate background noise, so it’s not a good choice for mixing. This headphone performs well in the studio and at this low price point from my taste of course! But don’t expect high performance like you might with pricey headphones.
Who Should Buy This?
The Tascam TH-02 is an affordable headphone that offers great performance from studio monitoring to home listening. If you want a headphone that makes you immerse yourself in the music world, this one is perfect for your needs. It’s also suitable for audiophile listeners if they think about its price point and it can be used as gaming headphones too without voice chat needed!
The Tascam TH-02 performs well with all types of applications from studios to homes over various settings including leisurely activities like games where chatting isn’t necessary.
Who Might Skip It?
Do you need a headphone for commuting/traveling?
If so, this headphone is not what you are looking for. It cannot block out ambient noise and it’s also unsuitable as a portable option. Besides that, the headset isn’t suitable to be used outdoors in sports or while cycling because of its instability during intense activities like running and gym workouts. This product does have an inline microphone but only works with certain devices such as laptops – making them unusable at work during meetings or classes where many people might want to talk on Skype instead of using their computer screens (you can use your mobile device).
Alternative To Tascam TH-02 Headphones
Here are some of the alternatives you can choose over Tascam TH – 02.
- OneOdio Wired Headphones
- AKG Pro Audio K72
- MAONO AU-MH601
This headphone is great for those looking to get a good audio experience with the convenience of wireless. It does not hurt that it can be easily folded and stored away when you don’t use them. The downside? You won’t have any control over your music playback because there are no buttons on this device, which could make things difficult in some situations like during an intense workout!
